When will Amazon Leo launch for consumers?
Amazon first targeted mid-2026. In July it said its constellation and launch pace put it on a path to start service "later this year." Reports from late September and early October describe distributor deals, such as Uztelecom in Uzbekistan, but still no consumer price list. Plan on late 2026 at the earliest, and likely in limited areas first.
Which should you pick?
If you need internet now, Starlink is the only choice of the two. If you can wait and your area has other options, it is reasonable to hold off and see what Amazon prices.
